It was an incredible experience to be part of Kyndryl’s first Cybersecurity & Data Resiliency event in Greece. The event’s objective was to discuss cyber resilience with Kyndryl and Partners and was held today at the Hellenic Motor Museum. It brought together top industry leaders, cybersecurity experts, and technology partners to analyse the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in securing data and digital infrastructure.

The atmosphere was dynamic, with engaging conversations and deep dives into cutting-edge technologies. Kyndryl, along with AWS, CISCO, DELL, Microsoft, and Palo Alto Networks, shared invaluable insights on the evolving cyber threat landscape. Durint the event, also he most effective strategies for data protection and resilience were shared.

Event Highlights

One of the key highlights of the day was the panel discussion. During this discussion, I had the privilege of speaking alongside the esteemed CISO from Generali Hellas. We discussed the real-world challenges organizations face in cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance, offering practical strategies to enhance resilience.

More specifically, I shared my passion for cybersecurity, highlighting how the constantly evolving nature of cyber threats keeps me motivated. I emphasized that cyber resilience is not just about technical defenses. I also pointed out the need of fostering adaptability and a strong security culture within an organization. Furthermore, I spoke about the challenges of aligning cybersecurity strategy with business goals. In addition, I stressed the importance of executive engagement and continuous training.

Finally, I addressed how the security risks of IoT and OT devices should be tackled through network segmentation and AI-driven anomaly detection, and how AI is transforming cybersecurity by improving threat detection and response.

Looking ahead, I stressed the need for collaboration in areas like AI-driven security, quantum-safe cryptography, and regulatory compliance to stay ahead of emerging threats.

Bottom line

Beyond the sessions, the event provided a fantastic opportunity for networking. Conversations continued over a lunch session, where participants exchanged ideas, shared experiences, and explored potential collaborations.

Looking back, it was truly an event that left a lasting impact. It managed to bring together experts and executives who are shaping the future of cybersecurity. For those who attended, it was a chance to gain actionable insights and build valuable connections in this ever-evolving field.

I’m grateful to Kyndryl for organizing such a remarkable event. I am looking forward to more discussions on cybersecurity and data resilience in the future!
