Microsoft South Europe Top CISO Club Athens Meeting

I’m still buzzing from our 3rd South Europe Top CISO Club meeting in Athens! Over two days, we dove deep into the latest in cybersecurity, AI, and risk management, connecting with some of the brightest minds in the region.

We kicked off with a look at Microsoft’s Secure Future Initiative, exploring one of the largest security engineering projects in history. The discussion focused on how enterprises and governments can leverage these insights to strengthen their security posture.

Another highlight was an engaging conversation on what it means to be a Frontier Firm in today’s AI-driven world. We explored the impact of AI agents on work and operations, plus strategies for managing the associated risks.

We also examined the AI attack surface and how organizations can innovate while managing emerging threats. Best practices were shared, sparking lively discussions throughout the room.

Customer stories are always at the heart of the South Europe Top CISO Club meeting structure. The fireside chat was particularly thought-provoking, providing real-world perspectives on navigating today’s complex threat landscape.

I had the privilege of presenting our Digital Defense Report, covering ransomware, nation-state attacks, and the current cyber defense landscape. The dialogue that followed brought the insights to life and sparked meaningful conversations.

We wrapped up with a forward-looking session on Microsoft Security strategy and the next steps for the Top CISO Club in the region.
