Checkpoint CPX EMEA 2024

Being part of CPX EMEA 2024 was an incredible experience. It brought together cybersecurity professionals from all over the world. Hosted by Check Point, the event focused on the future of digital security and the tools we need to stay ahead.

The keynotes were inspiring. Gil Shwed, Check Point’s Founder and CEO, spoke about AI-driven and cloud-based security. Rupal Hollenbeck, President of Check Point, highlighted the evolving role of security leaders. Eyal Manor introduced new products that show how Check Point is protecting networks, the cloud, and remote workforces.

The breakout sessions were packed with valuable insights. Topics ranged from Zero Trust models to SASE and cloud security. Hands-on workshops gave us a chance to try new tools and approaches. One standout was Maya Horowitz’s “Hacking Like Da Vinci” session—combining art, science, and cybersecurity in a truly original way.

There was also a strong sense of community. We celebrated the 5th birthday of CheckMates Everywhere. Contests like the How-To Video and Toolbox competitions encouraged everyone to share knowledge and creative ideas. These moments reminded us that cybersecurity is as much about people as it is about technology.

I left CPX 2024 feeling proud and energized. It was a chance to learn, connect, and grow. The sessions, speakers, and community spirit will stay with me. I’m more motivated than ever to protect what matters and collaborate with others in this mission.
